I have been a producer, hair and makeup artist, craft service coordinator, pa, and general production person for the last 10 years. Specifically however, I have been freelancing for the last 3 years as a hair and makeup artist. In the last year, I have tried to step up my work load.
I will be using this blog as a means to show my work and to also share my experiences as a working mom in the hair and makeup industry in Atlanta. This will not be a "tell all" blog where I will be "venting" any frustrations. Please feel free to ask me any questions. I look forward sharing what I do with you. Look for pictures soon!

First Day of School...
I feel so sneaky. No one knows that I am writing and it is kind of cathartic for me.
So today was Harley's first day of school. I wish she could talk more because when she got home it looked like she had just been swimming in a big pool of tic-tac's she was so happy. Matthew said she was almost reflective when he picked her up. Who's kid is this? Can one day really make so much of a difference. What I wouldn't give to be a fly on the wall in her class room. She is now watching a movie in a daze. I think they wore her out! I think she is really proud of herself too. She should be. I am proud of her.
I was at a loss the whole morning. Ella played, I know she missed Harley. Mason took the longest nap, I know he probably didn't miss her at this stage. I know he was tired considering he cried the entire way to and from school. I am thinking about how we are going to start spending these days. Thank you Ms. Anna and Ms. Melissa. I think this is the best money I have ever spent!

I Said I never Would...
Well, I said I would never start a blog because I don't have the time. I guess I was wrong. I can't promise how often I will add posts but this will be here for me now. I am not going to pass out the address. If you happen upon this let me know, I will be back soon!
